Angul: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) and Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) on Thursday explored the ways for mutual cooperation and growth in Odisha.
ECoR’s Divisional Railway Manager of Khurda Road Division Sashi Kant Singh visited various units of JSPL’s integrated steel complex here and discussed better collaboration with JSPL’s Managing Director VR Sharma and other senior officials.
“JSPL steel plant is having the plan for expansion and today’s visit was to synergise the plan of JSPL with the ECoR so that we can extend necessary support to JSPL in its plan to augment steel production,” said Singh.
“Our focus is to work simultaneously inside JSPL plant as well as on railway track so that there are no constraints in movement of raw material and finished products of the company,” he added.
“The effective support from ECoR will help JSPL, Angul achieve its growth plan and contribute to Atmanirbhar Bharat,” said Sharma.
