ECoR GM Stresses Expediting Projects In 2 Rly Sections In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: General Manager of East Coast Railway (ECoR) Parmeshwar Funkwal on Friday stressed on expediting the projects in two railway sections of Odisha.

Funkwal made a comprehensive inspection of Cuttack-Paradeep and Paradip-Haridaspur railway sections and other infrastructure development projects in Paradip on the day. He also reviewed traffic facility works and inspected railway sidings and various infrastructure works in the port town.

The general manager stressed on hassle-free train operations and improvement of mobility in both the railway sections and the port area. He told the Railway and project officials to remove the bottlenecks in the system to expedite the progress.

Funkwal advised them to implement the projects in close coordination with Paradeep Port Trust and other industries for effective utilisation of assets of all stake-holders.

Divisional Railway Manager of Khurda Road HS Bajwa and other heads of departments of ECoR accompanied Funkwal during the inspection.
