Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to re-run the Koraput-Rourkela Express train from February 4.
Initially, the Express train would run on this route thrice a week, an ECoR release said on Thursday.
As per the decision taken by the Railway authorities, the 18107 Rourkela-Koraput Express will leave Rourkela on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday while 18108 Koraput-Rourkela Express would leave Koraput on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
ECoR had cancelled plying of this Express train and other trains on this route on July 16 last year as a railway bridge on Nagabali river near Therubali in Koraput district was swept away by the flood.
But as the Railway authorities have restored the railway tracks, normal running of trains would begin from February 16, the release added.
