Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway (ECoR) will run a special train from Puri to Ajmer for the annual Urs fair.
The decision to run the special train was taken after reviewing the long waiting list of pilgrims in regular trains, an ECoR release said on Tuesday. Passengers can easily get confirm berths in this special train to make the journey hassle free, it added.
The 08421 Puri-Ajmer Special will leave Puri at 9 am on February 26 (Wednesday) and will arrive at Ajmer at 4 am on February 28.
In the return direction, the 08422 Ajmer-Puri Special will leave Ajmer at 8.05 pm on March 2 (Monday) and will reach Puri at 4.15 pm on March 4 (Monday).
The train will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Talcher Road, Angul, Rairakhol, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Titilagarh, Kantabanji, Khariar Road, Mahasamund, Raipur and other important stations between Puri and Ajmer on both directions.
It will have one AC-2 Tier, four AC-3 Tier, nine Sleeper Class, six Second Class Seating and two Guard cum Luggage Vans.
