Bhubaneswar: In view of the rush during Kartika Purnima, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run non-reserved special passenger trains from Berhampur and Cuttak to Odisha’s pilgrim town of Puri, witnessing a surge of devotees to Jagannath Temple.
Brahmapur-Puri Train Special
08464/08463 Brahmapur -Puri-Brahmapur train will depart from Berhampur on Sunday at 8.40 pm and reach Puri at 11.45 pm. In the return journey, the train will leave Puri at 5.30 am on Monday and arrive at Berhampur 8.35 am. l It will have stoppages at all stations and passenger halts between Berhampur and Puri and ply on Arugul-Haripur village route instead of Khurda Road.
Cuttack -Puri-Cuttack Passenger
08465/08466 Cuttack-Puri-Cuttack special train from Cuttack on Sunday at 11.30 pm and reach Puri at 1.30 pm. The train will depart from Puri on Monday at 9.30 am and arrive in Cuttack at 11.30 am. Between Cuttack and Puri, the train will stoppages at all stations and passenger halts
