Bhubaneswar: Gopalpur MLA Pradeep Panigrahi deposed before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) here on Tuesday for the second day in a row in a money laundering case.
He was questioned by the ED for nine hours on Monday.
A few days ago, the MLA’s daughter, Shruti Panigrahi, was grilled by ED for six hours.
Panigrahi is facing money laundering charges in a Tata Motors job fraud case. The MLA faces allegations of collecting money on behalf of Akash Kumar Pathak, son of suspended IFS officer Abhay Kant Pathak, with the promise to provide them jobs in the company.
The MLA had been served three summonses earlier to appear before the ED but he had failed to do so citing health grounds.
