Balangir: Vigilance sleuths caught the Assistant Block Education Officer (ABEO) of Balangir’s Muribahal block, Devraj Das, while allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 5,000 on Monday.
According to sources, Das had demanded the money from a complainant for finalization of enquiry proceedings against him.
A case has been registered against the ABEO under U/S 7 PC Amd Act ,2018.
