Bhubaneswar: The students from Odisha, who had participated in 4th Ekalavya Model Residential School (EMRS) National Cultural and Literary Festival and Kala Utsav-2023, were felicitated in Bhubaneswar.
Roopa Roshan Sahoo, secretary, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes Development department, felicitated the successful students on the premises of the Odisha Model Tribal Education Society (OMTES).
Speaking on the occasion, she said the department will provide all necessary support to the students to participate in more competitions at national and international level in future.
More than 2,000 students from 22 states in the country participated in the event which was held at Dehradun in Uttarakhand between October 3 and 6. Total 56 students from Odisha participated in 31 competitions in the festival and 21 of them came out successful.
