Cuttack: An elderly woman drowned while bathing in Kathajodi river in Odisha’s Cuttack on Saturday.
While identity of the woman is yet to be ascertained, fire service personnel have started a search operation to find her.
Locals spotted the woman being swept by the current in Kathajodi, rushed to the spot and raised an alert.
Till last reports came in the elderly woman was yet to be traced, said sources.
