A team from Binjharpur police station along with a scientific team went to the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. They also registered a case and started investigation.
Binodini’s younger brother Nagen Kumar Sahoo told the media that it was a habit of his sister to go out in the morning to pluck flowers everyday. She was also getting the flowers from the school premises.
Suspecting that she might be murdered, he said, “Binodini’s body bears injury marks and her gold ornaments are missing. Some miscreant might have looted the ornaments by attacking her. After she died, he dumped the body in the school toilet.”
