Elderly Woman Sustains Bullet Injury During Police Firing Practice

The victim, identified as Badani Mishra, was rushed to the district headquarters hospital for treatment. Her condition is stated to be stable.

According to available information, a bullet pierced through the wall of the woman’s house and hit her chest.

Locals alleged negligence by the police personnel. They demanded an inquiry into the incident stating that how could the bullet hit the woman with the house situated more than a kilometre away from the practice ground.
