Bhubaneswar: The initial trend in the Assembly and Lok Sabha polls in Odisha shows that the ruling BJD has taken the lead over its rival BJP and the Congress.
As per the latest trend, out of 146 Assembly seats, the BJD is leading in 47 seats and the BJP and Congress in 16 and 2 seats respectively. Similarly, out of 21 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP is leading in 5 and the BJD in 10 seats while the Congress is yet to open its account.
