Electric three-wheelers in Mumbai will sport a different look to create awareness about electric mobility. The auto-rickshaws will be painted in blue and white colours.
Earlier, it was decided that electric vehicles will have green number plates.
The environment-friendly three-wheelers are under trial. A few e-autos were procured from Pune for demonstration.
Electric vehicles will enjoy incentives such as lower taxes and fewer permits. The bright colours will help transport officials to identify them better.
