Cuttack: A farmer was trampled to death by elephants in Cuttack district early on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Ratnakar Behera, a resident of Jajbhairab village near Choudwar.
According to reports, a herd of elephants attacked Ratnakar while he was cutting paddy on his farmland. He was killed on the spot.
Police have retrieved the body and launched a probe.
