Engineer Critically Injured As His Car Catches Fire In Odisha’s Sundargarh

Sundargarh: An engineer was critically injured after his running car suddenly caught fire in Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Saturday.

As per reports, the engineer, Darasingh Bagh, had gone to his village Bileigarh in the district where his marriage was solemnised on June 23.

Bagh, who is posted at a power grid in Kalahandi district, had gone in his Maruti Baleno car to a nearby village in the morning.  On the way, his car suddenly caught fire and he was trapped inside it.

The locals managed to rescue him from the car and informed his family. By the time, Bagh had sustained critical burn injuries in his face and hands.

The engineer was rushed to District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) by the locals. Later, he was later shifted to Ispat General Hospital (IGH) in Rourkela as his condition deteriorated.
