Koraput: Electronics engineer Sisir Mallik from Odisha’s Koraput, known for his innovative and useful creations, is once again the talk of the town. This time, he has made a safety belt for the protection and safety of women.

“It took me two months to make this belt and cost me Rs 1,100,” informed Sisir.
Earlier, he had developed a mini sanitizer machine, which can sanitize 50 people at a time. He had also created a Robo helmet that helps strengthen security forces.
“Nowadays, people worry about safety of women and girls. To provide them protection, I thought of making this safety belt,” he added.
Sisir, who works in a private company, has come in for praise for his latest ‘discovery’, as this belt can also be helpful in child-trafficking cases.
