Brahmapur: In a administrative crackdown, the Brahmapur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) on Monday official
ly withdrew Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Sanjeeb Kumar Pradhan from all ongoing development projects.
The disciplinary action followed allegations of gross “indiscipline, dereliction of duty, and poor quality of work executed under his supervision”.
While an inquiry has been initiated into the allegations, all his charges have been handed over to AEE Maithilesh Ranjan Ratha with immediate effect.
In an official notification, the civic body confirmed his immediate reassignment to minor operations pending the outcome of the probe. “He is directed to supervise the de-silting works being undertaken by the Sanitation Section in different wards of the Corporation till completion of the pending inquiry,” the BeMC directive stated.
