Bhubaneswar: Police on Wednesday recovered body of a lecturer from a locked house at Ghatikia in the Odisha capital.
The deceased has been identified as Bhagabat Prasad Rath. He was reportedly working in a private engineering college in Bhubaneswar.
According to sources, the body was recovered after some neighbours informed police about a foul smell coming from the house which was locked from inside for the last four days.
He had also not conducted his online classes for the past few days.
Police suspect it to be a case of death by suicide.
