Puri: An engineering student from Ranchi went missing while taking bath in the sea near Holiday Resorts here on Tuesday.
He has been identified as Sai Krishna Kumar, a native of Ranchi and an engineering student of BITS college in Bokaro.
According to the sources, five students, who are on a trip to Puri, had gone to the sea this morning to take bath. Sai went deep into the sea and was swept away by strong currents.
His friends failed to trace him and informed the lifeguards, who immediately stared a rescue operation.
Meanwhile, the Marine Police also reached the beach.
Till last reports came in, the victim was yet to be traced.
