Bhubaneswar: Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday said the entry to Bhubaneswar railway station from eastern side will be developed soon.
Speaking to media persons during an inspection of the railway station, the Minister said, “I had received several memoranda regarding the east entry of Bhubaneswar station. So I thought to inspect it too. It will be developed soon.”
He also said he inspected the platforms at the station and interacted with the passengers. He expressed his satisfaction with the general cleanliness of the station.
“Railway station is the heart of any city. Similarly, Bhubaneswar railway station is also the heart of Bhubaneswar city. We must keep it clean, tidy and healthy,” he said.
Later, the minister boarded the Hirakhand Express to go to Rayagada.
