Bhubaneswar: The visitors to Nandankanan Zoological Park in the outskirts of the city will have to pay a slightly higher fee for entry as the authorities have decided to increase the fee to Rs 50 from Rs 40 per head for adults.
The revision of ticket costs shall come into effect from April 1.
However, the entry fee for children below 15 years of age shall remain unchanged (Rs 10 per head), according to zoo sources.
No fee shall be levied for use of toilet and drinking water facilities, the sources said.
The entry fee of the animal park and the adjacent botanical garden was earlier enhanced to Rs 40 to Rs 25 on June 1, 2017.
