Berhampur: The Notified Area Council (NAC) of Chhatrapur has sealed the entry points of the town to prevent people from entering with their vehicles in violation of the lockdown guidelines.
The NAC has put up barricades at New Police Line, Shyama Kali Sahi and near the railway station of Chhatrapur, the district headquarters of Ganjam. The people of six neighbouring panchayats including Baulagaon, Chikalakhandi, Pulingi, Mahanadpur, Bhikaripalli and Sundarpur are now unable to enter the town.
The movement of ambulance and the vehicles supplying essential commodities in these areas is also regulated.
