Rourkela: Following detection of COVID-19 cases, the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) Sub Regional Office, Bhavishyanidhi Bhawan, in Rourkela city has been shut for 72 hours.
Rourkela Municipal Corporation’s Commissioner Dibyajyoti Parida on Sunday said that the office will remain closed till April 28, and no one will be allowed into the premises of the building during this period.
“The COVID positive people will stay in home isolation. In case of a medical emergency, attention will be provided to them once the EPF authorities intimate to the health response team of the Rourkela Municipal Corporation,” the order stated.
This came a day after the PF Colony of Industrial Estate was declared as a Micro Containment Zone.
