EPFO Organises Awareness Campaign On Vishwas 2026 In Kataka


Bhubaneswar: An awareness campaign on Vishwas Scheme 2026 was held in Kataka on behalf of the Regional Office of the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Bhubaneswar

Regional Provident Fund Commissioner II, Maushumi Lata Padhi said the Union Labour and Employment Ministry has four schemes running now — Vishwas 2026, Prime Minister Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, Amnesty Scheme 2026 and Employees Enrolment Scheme — for benefit of employees and employers.

She said the Vishwas Scheme 2026 was an attractive one-time settlement scheme for eligible employers to pay penal damages at reduced rates.

Noting that financial crunches and litigation pose hurdles for employers, she said employers need to get acquainted with the scheme provisions of Vishwas to access their eligibility and apply for Vishwas Certificate by paying damages at reduced rates. She hoped that this session will aid the employers to take an informed decision.

Vipplavi Singh Chauhan, Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner, RO Bhubaneswar gave a detailed presentation on Vishwas Scheme 2026 provisions, including eligibility conditions. She added that the Scheme is in operation till December 2026 and eligible employers after payment of full 7% interest, can pay the damage at reduced rates of .25 %, .5 % and 1 % for less than 2 months, two to four months and above 4 months depending on period of default. On payment of the calculated damages at reduced rates, they can avail Vishwas Certificate.

An online demonstration was presented by Sashankar Ray, Senior Social Security Assistant, for availing Vishwas Certificate.

Maushumi Lata Padhi clarified and answered all the queries of the employers regarding Vishwas Scheme 2026.

Enforcement Officers Chittaranjan Swain (Jagatsinghpur), Manoranjan Mahapatra (Anugola and Dhenkanal, Surya Narayan Behera (Kataka Inner), Raghunath Maharana (Kataka Outer) and Debendra Sahoo (Jajpur), with the support of legal team and Vishwas team of the department, clarified the individual queries of the employers with respect to their case status.
