Mumbai: Manish Bhangale, an ethical hacker, got Rs 5 lakh offer to hack call records of Shah Rukh Khan’s manager and to provide a dummy SIM card in the name of Prabhakar Sail.
An independent witness of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Sail had brought extortion charges against zonal director Sameer Wankhede.
In a letter to Mumbai Police Commissionerate, Manish claimed that two persons – Alok Jain and Shailesh Choudhary – approached him on October 6 for call records of a few members, including SRK’s manager Pooja Dadlani, The Free Press Journal reported.
Though he did not take up the job, he thought of approaching the authorities on October 27 after Sail was in news, the report added.
