Even Black Hole Has Been Sighted, But Not ‘Acche Din’: Akhilesh

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday used ammunition from outer space to hurl verbal projectiles at the BJP.

Hinting at the recently released photograph of black hole Powehi, Akhilesh tweeted saying: “Ab toh black hole bhi dikh gaya, bas ab acche din hi hai jo nazar nahi aatey.” It translates to mean that even a black hole has been sighted, but the good days the BJP had promised during the 2014 elections are yet to be seen.

Narendra Modi had given the slogan “Achhe din aa rahey hai” (Good days are round the corner) while campaigning for the 2014 general elections that gave his party saw a massive mandate at the hustings.

Astronomers captured an image of a black hole for the first time ever in a recent landmark experiment. The image became a global sensation. The black hole was located at the heart of Messier 87 galaxy, 55 million light-years away from Earth.

Political observers predict the SP-BSP-RLD will give the BJP a major headache in the politically crucial state. The first phase of Lok Sabha polls was conducted in eight out of 80 constituencies in the state on April 11.
