Mumbai: Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has landed in a soup once again with his wife Andrea Hewitt accusing him of harassing and assaulting her in a Bandra (West) apartment under the influence of alcohol, the PTI reported on Sunday.
He has been booked by Mumbai Police under Sections 504 (insult) and 324 (willful infliction of harm with dangerous weapons) of IPC. He allegedly threw the handle of a cooking pan at his wife, causing a head injury.
No arrest has been made so far in connection with the alleged incident which took place on Friday, the report added.
