Angul: Rajkishore Pradhan, a former MLA of Athmallik in Odisha’s Angul district, was found dead near the railway track at Kainfulia under Nalco Nagar police limits on Sunday evening.
The police, quoting family sources, said that the 85-year-old former MLA was on his way to Boinda.
It is suspected that since Pradhan had a partial loss of memory due to the old age, he might have slipped while trying to get down at Kainfulia railway station and sustained a deep wound on his head, leading to his death.
Mallick was elected from Athmallik Assembly constituency as a candidate of Utkal Congress in 1971.
