Expedite Projects For Post-COVID Smart City, BSCL Chairman Directs Officials

Bhubaneswar: Chairman of Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) Suresh Chandra Mahapatra on Thursday directed the officials to expedite the work of various ongoing projects for public use in post-COVIDE-19 situation.

Speaking at the 16th Board of Directors Meeting of BSCL, here, Mahapatra directed the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) authorities to deploy more cycles across the city so that people can use those as a means of transport and physical exercise.

The Board approved the Budget of BSCL for 2020-21, draft accounts for 2019-20 and the HR policy, and Accounts policy for the special purpose vehicle (SPV).

The Board also approved nine-monoth extension to IBI Group as project management consultant (PgMC) with the Smart City.
