Sambalpur: A three-member government team arrived at the Samaleswari temple here on Thursday to assess the proposed infrastructure development of the shrine.
The three experts from Bhubaneswar inspected the temple periphery and interacted with people about the proposed works at the temple. The team will submit its report to the state government.
On January 21, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had announced that the state government will develop the infrastructure at Maa Samaleswari temple. He said an expert team will assess the requirements of the temple and the devotees. The government will take further steps on the basis of the team’s report.
