Since the iron beam outside the Jagmohan has been compressed, the meeting decided on putting up an additional iron beam under the existing one to hold on the structure.
It was also decided to install sensor and monitors at the stone beam of the Nata Mandap and apply chemical coating on the leakage points of the roof.
The repair and restoration work of the Jagmohan and Nata Mandap will be done with direct supervision of the experts of the IIT-Kharagpur.
Member of the temple technical core committee Gopal Chandra Mitra, executive engineer of the temple NC Pal and senior officials of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) Chitta Ranjan Das and Padmolochan Mahapatra were present at the meeting.
