Bhubaneswar: Experts deliberated on expected key outcomes of India-United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2023-27) at a validation workshop organised under the aegis of UN and NITI Aayog on virtual mode from State Lokseba Bhawan on Tuesday.
Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra; Principal Secretary, School and Mass Education Department, Bishnupada Sethi; Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, Ashok Kumar Meena; Principal Secretary, Labour and ESI, Chitra Arumugam along with senior officers from departments concerned participated in the workshop.
The workshop was organised under the co-chairmanship of VC Niti Ayog Rajiv Kumar and UN Resident Commissioner in India Shombi Sharp at New Delhi.
Niti Aayog, CEO, Amitav Kant along with senior national and global experts highlighted the issues relating to expeditious achievement of the expected outcomes like health and wellbeing, nutrition and food, quality education, economic growth and descent work, climate action and WASH and empowering people.
