Bhubaneswar: Experts from academia and industry in the area of electronics and communication engineering have come together to confabulate on emerging and future trends in the field, at a three-day international conference being held at the SOA Deemed University here since Monday.
Prof. G.S. Chae from Baekseok University of South Korea was the chief guest at the inauguration of the International Conference on Communication, Computing, Control and Device (i4CD-2018), organised by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of SOA’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology, which followed talks by experts.
The other key speakers at the conference included Prof. Arabinda Routray of IIT, Kharagpur, Prof. Swagatam Das of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, Prof. M. Mitra of Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology, Shibpur, Prof. M. Das Sarkar of West Bengal University of Technology, Prof. B. Sahu from Johannesburg and Prof. Debasish Dutta of SOA.
Prof. P. K. Nanda, SOA’s Dean (Research and Development), Prof. P. K. Sahoo, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Bibhu Prasad Mohanty, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Prof. Mihir Mohanty, Programme Chair for the conference also spoke on the occasion.
