Berhampur: Prominent persons from different fields gave some helpful tips to the students preparing for various national level entrance examinations in Berhampur of Odisha’s Ganjam district on Friday.

They were speaking at ‘Prerana 2023’, the annual function of Aryabhatta Learning Forum, the premier coaching centre at Berhampur. The speakers advised the aspiring students in JEE, NEET, NEST, KVPY, IISER and other national level entrance examinations.

Addressing the students, Berhampur SP Saravana Vivek M said honest self-analysis, trust in the process, hard and sincere work, attending every mock test and parents’ blessings are important to achieve success.

Renowned Ophthalmologist from MKCG Medical College and Hospital Prof Nageswar Rao Subudhi said failure, hard work and time management are three mantras for success. Instead of wasting their time in mobile phones and Google, the students should use their brain, search in library and take teachers’ help, he advised.

Giving credit to Aryabhatta Learning Forum for the success of his children, Superintending Engineer Jagannath Das advised the parents to respect the career selection of their children.

“The students must emphasise on how to face the struggle in life rather than in profession,” said Sudhir Rout, director, Aryabhatta Learning Forum. “Human values have deteriorated and are affecting society. We must see that our study becomes instrumental in development of the society,” he added.

Educationist Shyam Sundar Khadanga introduced the guests and Sushant Kumar Mahanty gave vote of thanks. The function also marked Odissi and modern dance performance by the junior students.
