Keonjhar: Three persons including a minor boy were injured as a gas stove exploded at Joda in the district on Sunday.
According to sources, the explosion took place in an illegal gas filling shop at Joda market. While an employee of the shop was filling a stove with gas, another ignited it, leading to the explosion. As a result, three workers in the shop were injured.
The injured persons were rushed to Tata Steel hospital and later, they were shifted to a hospital in Rourkela. The injured were identified as Sagar Khan of Joda market, Sanjay Maharana of Hudisahi and the minor boy of Joda.
On being informed, Joda police reached the spot and conducted enquiry among the eyewitnesses and the locals. They have registered a case and launched investigation.
