Puri: Faith can shake mountains. With this in mind, a 22-year-old youth ran for 230 km to Jagannath Temple in Puri and prayed to Lord Jagannath to help him clear defence exams, which he had failed to crack even after multiple attempts.
The youth, Sourabh Sethi is a resident of Banta area of Bhadrak district. He aspired to clear the Army entrance examination like his brothers but unfortunately, could not do it. But that did not diminish his passion to don the khaki uniform.
“Earlier, I had run from Banta to Ghatagaon Tarini Temple and that is where I decided to run to Jagannath Temple. I began my run from Jagannath Temple in Banta to Puri Jagannath Temple. I really hope Kalia understands me and fulfils my wish,” said an emotional Sethi.
Sethi was given a warm welcome by the District Sports Officer, senior sevayat of the temple and several others.
