Ranchi: ‘Sholay’ is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and influential Hindi films of all time.
Many have yearned for a sequel to the multi-starrer 1975 action-adventure film, while others have been against a part 2 of the legendary Ramesh Sippy movie.
After almost half a century, will we finally have a sequel?
Sholay 2 coming soon — that’s what Hardik Pandya captioned a picture of him with MS Dhoni on a three-wheeler he shared on Twitter on Thursday.
The old-fashioned motorcycle with a carriage on the side and an extra wheel is a throwback to the unforgettable Sholay song ‘Ye dosti hum nahi todenge’ in which Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan celebrate the friendship of Veeru and Jay on such a similar three-wheeler.
Team India allrounder Hardik, who like many other teammates shares a close relationship with ex-captain Dhoni, managed to find a three-wheeler in the latter’s hometown Ranchi and wasted no time in having a picture clicked.
Pandya will be leading the men in blue in a three-match T20 International series which gets underway in Ranchi on Friday.
Dhoni caught up with the other members of the current team, as seen in a video clip posted on social media by BCCI.
