Mumbai: She has so far kept a low profile, but the gorgeous Sara Tendulkar is one of the most popular celebrity kids in India.
The 24-year-old daughter of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has more than 1.8 million followers on Instagram, where she posts pictures and updates from time to time.
Having done her schooling from Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai, Sara pursued a course in medicine at University College of London.
But her interest is learnt to be more in the glamour world. She has already had her initiation in modelling, with an appearance in a lifestyle advertisement for an e-commerce portal, along with Tania Shroff and actress Banita Sandhu.
Now, grapevine has it that Sara is gearing up for her Bollywood debut.
According to a report in Bollywoodlife, Sara has been taking acting lessons.
“Sara has always been interested in acting… She has been taken acting lessons while doing some brand endorsements,” the report quoted a source close to the Tendulkars as saying, adding that her parents are extremely supportive of whatever she does.
There had been speculation of Sara’s foray into Bollywood a few years ago, but Sachin dismissed those reports, saying that his daughter was enjoying her academic pursuits.
Whether time is now ripe for Sara to take the plunge will be known in the next few weeks or months.
