New Delhi: A few Indian news channels carried a story on a military conflict that allegedly happened in Afghanistan’s Panjshir.
Republic TV reported it as an “exclusive video” and claimed it as evidence t
hat Pakistan helped the Taliban take over Panjshir. Times Now Navbharat aired the footage stating that Pakistan is bombing Panjshir valley. All channels referred to a UK-based Afghan channel Hasti TV as the source.
However, the video is that of a video game called Arma-3.
It has been now deleted from the respective channels.
