Fact Check: Is This Pakistan Aircraft Attack In Panjshir Or A Video Game?

New Delhi: A few Indian news channels carried a story on a military conflict that allegedly happened in Afghanistan’s Panjshir.

Republic TV reported it as an “exclusive video” and claimed it as evidence that Pakistan helped the Taliban take over Panjshir. Times Now Navbharat aired the footage stating that Pakistan is bombing Panjshir valley. All channels referred to a UK-based Afghan channel Hasti TV as the source.

However, the video is that of a video game called Arma-3.

It has been now deleted from the respective channels.
