Congress President Sonia Gandhi has come under attack for an image showing a book titled ‘How to Convert India into Christian Nation’ on a shelf behind her. The image also shows the Bible and a statue of Jesus Christ placed behind her.
The image has gone viral and caused an uproar on social media. The Congress president has long been targeted for her foreign roots.
However, on close examination, it has been found out that the photograph is morphed. The original video from which this screenshot has been taken can be found in a tweet by Rahul Gandhi on October 27, 2020. Sonia is seen asking for votes ahead of Bihar elections.
There is no Bible or statue of Jesus in the entire video.
