Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police raided a plastic oil container
factory at Infocity area here on Thursday.
During raid, few samples of ghee and oil containers were seized from
the factory named Techno Plast for examination.
According to a senior police officer, owner of the factory Amiya
Mallick said that they use to manufacture plastic containers basing on
the customers’ requirement and order placed by their clients.
However, the owner of the Cuttack-based fake ghee manufacturing unit,
which was busted on Wednesday, used to purchase containers from Techno
Plast, the officer added.
The police had seized several packets and containers with ghee bearing
labels of various prominent brands like OMFED, Devi and Durga.
