Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Higher Education department has cancelled the admissions of eight students into the BJB Autonomous College here for allegedly submitting fake disability certificates.
After the incident came to light, college authorities had filed an FIR.
Four are from Cuttack district and four others hail from Bhadrak district, college principal Niranjan Mishra had said.
The principal had said that they filed a case with Bargarh police station and informed government authorities after the chief district medical officer intimated that his office had not issued the certificates in question.
