Malkangiri: Orkel Police on Monday arrested a man of MV-30 village on charge of collecting electricity tariff from power consumers by preparing fake bills.
Accused, identified as Naba Kishore Biswas, has been working as a bill collector in a computer consultancy firm associated with the Tata Power Distribution company. Chitrakonda sub-divisional police officer Anshuman Dwivedi and Orkel station incharge John Kujur arrested Naba Kishore and seized a billing machine, two mobile phones and Rs 40,000 from his possession.
