Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Tuesday busted a fake lubricant (engine oil) manufacturing unit in the city and arrested three persons in this connection.
Following information about the production of the fake lubricant, a police team raided a place in Sameigadia in Chakeisiani area and unearthed the fake engine oil manufacturing unit.
According to preliminary investigation, one Babaji Sahu, who was arrested two years earlier in another case, was running the unit.
During the search on the unit’s premises, the police seized 65 barrels of kerosene, 70 barrels of used engine oil, note counting machine and a laptop.
