Cuttack: Police busted a fake gutkha, edible and cosmetic manufacturing unit at Shankarpur Das Sahi here on Saturday and arrested a couple.
The arrested were identified as Prakash Sahoo and his wife.
According to police, Prakash and his wife used to manufacture gutkha, hair oil, ghee and pan masala in the name of different companies in their house for the last 4-5 years.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Badambadi Police raided their house and seized fake gutkha and other items worth over Rs 4 lakh.
The arrested duo was later taken to the police station for further investigation.
