Bhubaneswar: Police detained a fake journalist for allegedly brandishing gun on a busy street near Rasulgarh in the city on Saturday.
Sources said the accused, Arabinda Mishra, had an argument with a person over the latter overtaking his vehicle. Following the argument, Arabinda threatened the person with a gun.
On being informed, Mancheswar police reached the spot and detained the youth. Police also recovered a licensed gun from his possession.
The accused claimed himself to be a journalist during interrogation.
