Rayagada: Police arrested two persons, who had demanding extortion from a contractor in Rayagada by impersonating as Maoists.
The duo was produced before the court, informed the police on Wednesday.
Thy have been identified as K. Madhav Rao of Kasturinagar and V. Jagannath of JK Pur area.
As per the contractor’s complaint, they had allegedly demanded Rs 50 lakh. The police arrested the duo on the basis of his complaint.
