Fake Note Racket Busted, 5 Arrested In Nuapada

Nuapada: Police on Friday busted a fake note racket and arrested five persons in Khariar of Nuapada district.

Those arrested have been identified as Arabinda Das, Bhabani Charan Bagh, Santosh Saraf, Damodar Chalan and Rameswar Bagh.

Receiving a tip-off, a police team conducted raid at a computer training centre from where the racket was being operated and arrested these persons from the spot, Nuapada SP P. Parmar informed.

As many as 102 notes of Rs 100 denomination, a printing machine and one computer were seized from the place.

Police sources said that the accused persons used to manufacture fake notes and supply the same to different parts of Kalahandi district.
