Seoul: Is North Korea’s supreme leader Kim Jong Un dead? Or are images of his ‘funeral’, which have gone viral on social media on Saturday, photoshopped?
News of Kim’s ill health first made the rounds three days ago when it was reported that he was in “grave danger” after undergoing a cardiovascular procedure.
Fresh rumours started circulating following reports claiming that Kim Jong is either suffering from a terminal disease or has been declared brain dead.
The Pyongyang state media in North Koreas has neither corroborated nor denied reports related to Kim Jong. No confirmation has been received from North Korea’s closest ally China, either.
According to a yahoo! news report, the ‘funeral’ image of Kim Jong were found to be malicious, the visuals used being from the last rites of Kim Jong’s father Kim Jong Il and photoshopped.
