Fall In Covid-19 Deaths: 4 Die In Odisha; 1 From Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A sudden fall in COVID-19 deaths has been reported in Odisha on Sunday with four persons succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours, pushing the toll to 1,734. The State last recorded a single digit fatality on November 3 with 9 deaths on the day.

One each death was reported from Balasore district, Dhenkanal, Bhubaneswar City and Khurda district.

The Health and Family Welfare Department identified the deceased as:

  1. A 43-year-old male of Balasore district, who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
  2. A 45-year-old male of Bhubaneswar, who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
  3. A 57-year-old male of Dhenkanal district, who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & CKD.
  4. A 56-year-old female of Khurda district who was also suffering from COPD, Hypertension & Hypothyroidism.

On Saturday, the State had reported 12 deaths of which 4 were from Sundargarh district, 3 from Bhubaneswar (Khurda), 2 from Angul and one each from Balasore, Dhenkanal and Jajpur districts.
